Good morning polished people!
I am technically back from vacation but it will take me a few days to get totally back in the swing of things, so thanks for your patience. 🙂 Today I want to share with you a polish I was lucky to get my hands on while I was in my grandma’s tiny town. I have wanted some DS polishes but never really wanted to fork over the $10+ a bottle for OPI. When I found some bottles for pretty cheap in a salon I couldn’t help but pick two up. Here is the first-
OPI DS Classic
Color:
OPI DS Classic is a pretty nude/sand color with lots of holographic glitter. It’s a very faint linear holo but the holographic particles are very fickle and only show themselves fully in certain light. Even when the full holo goodness isn’t being shown, this polish is still super sparkly and just beautiful. “Classic” is a perfect name because that’s exactly what it is. 🙂
Formula/Application:
The formula is spot on. In 2 coats it’s opaque, but I always use 3. It dries quickly and wears forever. I wore these nails alone for a day and then but a little something over them and wore them for at least another couple of days and they looked good as new. 🙂 Als0 worth noting is that the removal is practically as smooth as butter. It removes more like a creme than a glitter.

Yes, please!!! I love this polish so much, I am just ecstatic that I could find it somewhere. 😀 I like it better if found at a discount, but regardless if you buy this you will not be sorry. You can wear it to work, out on the town, anywhere- it’s just perfect for every occasion. 🙂

Pretty! I like being surprised by more neutral polishes. I was recently (not by something a great as this one). I got my nails done before an interview because I didn’t have time to do it myself and they had the OPI Germany collection at the salon, so I did My Very First Knockwurst. I liked it so much, I bought it later!
I don’t have any DS polishes. This one is special because you got it on vacation and you love it!
Isn’t it funny how a polish will just like capture you?? MVFK doesn’t look like anything special when I see pics but now that you said that I’m gonna have to check it out tomorrow at Ulta! 🙂 Enabling clearly works both ways. 😉

I also tried on the Pretzel one and it was too mannequin hands for my taste. I think Knockwurst would also be pretty for nail art, especially silver/gold/white stamping.
I ended up getting don’t talk bach to me and my boyfriend scales walls. Mt very first knockwurst is next! Haha.
