Stamping Saturday!

Hey There Polished People!

Today I have some stamped nails to share with you that just feel so perfectly Spring-like to me. I don’t know about where you live, but where I live the weather has been just completely bipolar! It’s windier than Kansas and rainy as heck one day, 61° and sunny the next and then 33° and there is ice on the power lines the day after that! I think the weather should just decide to be summer. That sounds good to me! Madeline and I already have our swimsuits so we’re ready! Anyway, are you ready to see my Springy stamped nails?

How To Get These Nails

  • Apply basecoat.
  • Paint your nails with 2-3 coats of OPI I Just Can’t Cope-acabana.
  • Allow nails to dry and then stamp with BM 302 and Konad Special White.
  • Apply a coat of Seche Vite.
  • Voila! Enjoy your chic chick nails!
  • I hope you liked these nails! I like them well enough although the stamping is a bit too subtle for me. Just as a quick note on this OPI yellow- WOWWWW if there is one yellow to buy, this is it. This is the yellow polish formula I’ve been dreaming about. It’s opaque in almost 1 coat (2 is best), goes on smooth, no staining, no need for a white base… It’s fantastic!! It’s from the OPI Brah-seel collection. I like to sound like Sophia Vergara when I say “Brazil.” 😉

Don’t forget to check out everyone else’s Stamping Saturday manis!!

Are you ready for summer? Do you like yellow nail polish? Are you terrified by birds and therefor hate these nails on principal? Let me know what you think in the comments below! As always, thank you all so much for reading and till next time- Happy Polishing!!

    1. Having lived in Kansas the majority of my life, I wasn’t aware that it had a reputation for being super windy.

Love the nails! That yellow looks amazing on you.

      • Dorothy lived in Kansas and got blown to Oz so naturally Kansas must be super windy… Right? 😉 And- thanks!! I really love yellow and was THRILLED about the formula!

      • Awesome!!! I love her, she’s like the current Lucille Ball. I just can’t get enough of Modern Family. 🙂 And- thanks about the nails. I also love amazon amazoff, which I do not own yet. And there’s a coral colored polish too that I can’t remember the name of at the moment.

    2. Who doesn’t want to sound (or, for that matter, look) like Sophia Vergara? 😉
“Are you terrified by birds and therefore hate these nails on principal?” Literally LOLing on that one. Gee, I wonder who that was geared toward? Hmmm… 😉
Although yellow is a bad color for me, I do like yellow nails and think I can mostly pull them off nonetheless. It is a pretty under-represented part of my polish collection, though.
I like your chickie stamp! It is a little hard to see the contrast, but the color/stamp combo makes sense. 🙂
I am not ready for summer, but it’s supposed to be 81 this weekend, so…guess I don’t have a choice!

      • It was like 40° and raining like crazy yesterday so it is LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE for me to empathize. :p I should have used a black stamp or something, but I wanted it to stay light and springy. Probably a bad choice but ehhh you get the point. 😉
