3D Bow Mani Using Winstonia Nail Charms

Hey There Polished People!

I know you all saw my Baby Girl nails already, but after I wore them for a few days I thought they needed a little something extra. I had recently received some 3D Nail Charms from Winstonia to review and one of the designs that I chose were some rhinestone bows, so I added them to my super-girly mani. Ready to see how they looked?

I thought these charms were really cute, but for me they’re a bit much. I am not really comfortable with big chunky jewelry stuck to my nails. They sit up off the nail quite a bit (without measuring I would guess close to a quarter of an inch) and catch easily on my hair and even my clothing. These are best suited for a special one-evening occasion. I stuck mine to my nail with topcoat so I knew they were temporary, but there is a good semi-curved back on them so if you used nail glue I bet they’d stay on for quite a while.

Winstonia has lots of different designs of 3D nail charms to choose from and if you’d like to check them out yourself you can find these products here. Winstonia is an online retailer that specializes in beauty products like nail art accessories, false eyelashes and hair extensions. You can visit their site Winstonia.com here or find their Amazon store here. Also- you can follow them on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest using the addresses shown in my photos. Winstonia has created a special coupon code for all of you, so if you would like to order some of these, please use the code POLISHMEPLEASE to take 10% off. The coupon code is good through the month of August. 🙂

How do you feel about 3D nail art like this? Do you think it’s awesome and bold or over the top and impractical? Did you like these nails better with or without the bow? Let me know what you think in the comments below. As always, thank you very much for reading and till next time- Happy Polishing!! 😀

  1. Aw the bow looks really cute over your mani! It’s a bit big for my liking (only because if it were on my nail it would probably fall off soon after putting it on lol), but still very cute!

    • Uh yeah, it fell off like 15 minutes after I applied it. However- like I said I didn’t use glue so it was mostly my own fault. I’m thinking about gluing these to some earring backs and making little bow studs out of them!

  2. That bow is sooo cute! I could never wear it but it’s very pretty!
I am dying for some winstonia plates but they don’t ship here. Seeing anything Winstonia now just rubs salt in my wounds 😦

    • Ooohhhh sorry about that! 😦 I agree on the bow- very cute but too impractical for me. I need to DO stuff throughout the day, I can’t just be sitting around babying my hands. Especially since I work at a park, I’m like hooking up hoses and lifting boxes of stuff… it would be gone in 2.5 seconds.

  3. I like how this looks with this mani, but generally I think this kind of thing is more “over-the-top and impractical.” I’m just imagining wearing that at work and am like, uh, no. I do want to go take a peek at Wistonia, though. ;P

    • They have cute stamping plates but I have no idea if they’re good bad or ugly since I didn’t get a chance to try them. Womp wommmmp. I totally agree w you. I was telling someone else- with my work these would fall off in 5 seconds even if I superglued and duct taped em! 😉

  4. These are super duper girly and super duper cute with the bow added 🙂 I’m not a fan of wearing 3D nail art on myself but I like how simple ones like these look just to look at.

  5. I think I am loosing my mind, I swore I commented on this. maybe on IG? either that or I really am going crazy. Either way you know how I feel about that much 3D lol it looks cute. but not practical I would rip it off in5 seconds.. lol I love the nails behind it 😀 ❤

Commenting is Caring!! ;D
