G’mornin Polish People!
I don’t really have a secret, except that even with alllll my nail polishes I own, I didn’t have a periwinkle!! I originally was going to get the periwinkle polish from the CG Electropop collection (Electric Beat) but Mary from Swatch and Learn had mentioned a different CG periwinkle to me, so when I went to Sally’s to get my Electropop I checked out that other polish. I actually liked it better than the Electropop one (it was a little more purple and not as muted) so I went with it instead. Let’s have a look 🙂

Secret Peri-Wink-Le is a pretty dusty blue/ lavender color… just like the title suggests- it’s periwinkle! The color makes me think of little purple flowers. I don’t know if the ones in my mind are real periwinkles or not but that’s what comes to mind. Also- did you know that periwinkles aren’t just flowers, a periwinkle is also a tiny snail? The color clearly must be named after the flower. 🙂
Formula:
This is a nice creme formula that is opaque in nearly one coat. I used 2 in the photos above. This polish is nice and shiny even without any topcoat, but we wouldn’t dream of doing that, now, would we? 😉
Yes, Please! or No, Thank You:
This is a Yes, Please for me because I have nothing like it. I can’t believe I never picked up a periwinkle! I like blue, I like purple… why not combine them?! It’s really quite a no-brainer. ;p This is a really pretty shade and one that deserves a spot in my collection.
Polish Me, Please! 
They look so different w/ and w/o flash! I love how they look with flash, but in low light they look muted. I love periwinkle tho. When I was a kid it used to be my fav color in the big Crayola box (after purple ofcoarse!). Haha!
Yeah in low light they look kinda like Planks A Lot, but with flash is how they look most of the time. I really like this color! Since it’s one of your favorite colors, do you have a lot of periwinkle polishes? This one and Electric Beat are really nice!
I actually have ZERO periwinkle, so sad. I need to get on that!

Thanks! I really like the color, too, and I’m usually not that into soft purples/light blues. It’s a surprise favorite! 🙂
