Burning Embers Polish (aka: Finger Paints Flashy matted)

Hey!

This morning I showed you Flashy with my regular Seche top coat. Now I wanna show you how AWESOME it looks matted!! It’s one of my favorite ways to wear this polish. You’ll see why:

In direct light like in the flash photos above, don’t you think the polish looks like burning embers in a fire? We have a wood stove and after the fire is long gone, if you turn off all the lights you can still see some embers burning… and it looks exactly like this. 🙂

The below photos are with no flash and it allows you to see how it looks in more typical lighting. See all the pretty colors? It looks so cool!

Doesn’t this polish look fantastic matted? I really love my Essie Matte About You top coat. It makes all your polish so versatile, which for me is very important. I highly recommend you get a matte top coat and try it over all your polishes, you’ll be amazed at how different it makes them look.

Just FYI, all the above photos are:

  • Ulta base coat
  • 2 coats FP Black Expressionism
  • 2 coats FP Flashy
  • 1 coat Seche Vite dry fast top coat
  • 1 coat Essie Matte About You  top coat

I hope you enjoyed these nails as much as I did! Thanks so much for reading!!

    • I just find so many uses for it! A mattifying top coat is definitely a must-have. The only bad thing is that the matte layer is not all that durable and sometimes cracks, chips or starts to peel around the edges after a few days. It’s still totally worth it though. 🙂

Commenting is Caring!! ;D
