Hello all you polish people,
As I’m sure you know, greige (a gray tinged beige) is in and staying in for a while. It’s a perfect neutral to wear with whatever, looks current and trendy but not overdone and is surprisingly flattering to most skin tones. It looks much classier than grey but still has that slightly edgy yet muted feel. The best greige I’ve found is OPI Skull and Glossbones. 🙂
Color:
Skull and Glossbones is a greyed out beige and part of the Pirates of the Caribbean collection. I bought this polish just recently, and then today when I went into Ulta all the Pirates of the Caribbean polishes were on clearance!! Figures, huh? Oh well, I’ve got lost of use out of it before they went on clearance. That’s what I tell myself, anyway :p
Formula:
The formula on this a teeny bit thin but nothing too difficult to work with. It was opaque in 2 coats, but I put a third on to perfect the finish. It’s easy to work with and like all OPI polishes glides smoothly over the nail and self-levels like a dream. 🙂
Finish and Durability:
This polish dries to a nice shiny finish although I always use Seche and my SHMS which makes anything mirror shiny. It’s also super durable and I haven’t had any problems at all with it chipping.
Yes, Please! or No, Thank You
Yes, Please! I love this polish. It goes with everything, is an easy, effortless color to wear and is the perfect base for nail art if you’re into that. It’s perfect because it matches and doesn’t clash with anything and just looks great. I LOVE IT! 🙂 Stay tuned cuz I used my nail stamper and my nail art pens to make a really cute cheetah print on top of this color. Those pics will be up later today or tomorrow.
Do you have a go-to color that you know will look good for however many days you may need to wear it? This is my busy week polish, what’s yours? Thanks for stopping by!
