Hey There Polished People!
I’ve decided that I really love Halloween nails!! And it’s not even so much the nail art as it is the greens, purples, oranges, blacks and interesting glitters that are out right now. I’m loving them! If you don’t get excited when your nails glow in the dark, you’re not really living. Although I think the same if you don’t squeeze the dish soap bottle just right to send tons of tiny bubbles up into the air so maybe you don’t wanna listen to me. If you don’t want to take my word for it, trust Oprah… I’m sure she LOVES glow in the dark nails.
I bet Oprah would approve of the following nails.
Glow In The Dark Stitches Nails
How To Get These Nails:
- Base coat.
- Apply Jessica Viva La Lime Lights until it’s opaque. Next time I will layer this over white because I think it seriously took like 5 coats to be opaque. Love the color, hate the sheerness.
- Apply two coats of glow-in-the-dark Fantasy Makers polish (I figured everyone has seen the fuzzy glow-in-the-dark pictures so I didn’t show a dark pic but just trust me- they glow
). - Apply one coat of Seche Vite and allow to dry to the touch.
- When your nails are dry to the touch, use a black striper to add the stitches.
- Add a final coat of Seche Vite and ta-daaaa! Have your friends in stitches!
I know Frankenstein/stitches nails aren’t all that unique but can we all agree they’re still super cute?!
I especially like how they match my blog’s Halloween costume!
Also one thing that I really like about them is that they’re just about the easiest Halloween nail art you can possible do. If you’re searching for some easy Halloween nail art, I strongly suggest you give these a try.
Thanks for reading and till next time- Happy Polishing!!

But… do they REALLY glow in the dark? Pics please
Oh no!!
I took them off already! When I use it again I’ll post some pics just for you.
I really like the simplicity of these nails. And yes, they are super cute!
Thanks! I agree. I am ready to get back to some simple geometric-type designs. I’ve been really pushing it with our challenge and am ready to get back in my comfort zone.
“If you don’t get excited when your nails glow in the dark, you’re not really living.” LOL!
I do agree that they’re super cute! Funny that they match your blog’s Halloween costume, haha.
I need to plan out my manicure for my costume. I have my general idea, but I need to lay it all out to be sure I execute! It’s not really necessary for the costume to have a fancy mani, but I figure it’s an excuse, so I’ll do it
Uh yeah!! Your nails need a costume too!
I can’t wait to see your costume and your nails!!!
Glad you like my quote, as well.
Blogs Halloween costume, lol!! I agree with you these are super cute!!
Thank you! Hey- my blog likes to get dressed up too!
Cute! LOL, I do the soap bubble thing too.
Yesssss!! It’s so fun and you just HAVE to!
I love this! They probably look awesome in the dark!
They looked very cool. It’s just hard to get a good pic so I deleted the crappy ones and didn’t post any. Now I’m regretting that. :-/
super duper freaking cute! I thought I had commented but I guess I didn’t! I always forget to comment on a post when I already “like” it on instagram. I get so discombobulated with what I did and didn’t do
Thanks!! I’m bad w that too. Sometimes I think I’ve commented on something but it was just on twitter. Or Instagram… Or not at all!! Haha. Gotta love social media.
I love that these glow in the dark and how simplistic they are! Adorable loving ur halloween nails
Thank you!! Simplistic is the perfect word. So easy yet easily identifiable (I think!) as Halloween nails.
