Hey There Polished People!
I bet “rug print” really upped all of your expectations, huh? NOT! I don’t know of anyone who wants their nails to look like rugs, but that’s just what this print made me think of. And since it’s on top of this heaven’s sand super smooth and beautiful glitter (aka I’m Not Lion)… it was screaming “rug” to me. If you have a better suggestion (I have no doubt that one of you will) please let me know. Clearly I need some help in the nail-naming department!!
Sparkly Rug Nails
How To Get These Nails:
- Base coat.
- Paint your nails with 2 coats of ChG I’m Not Lion.
- Apply a coat of Seche Vite and allow to dry.
- Use stamp BM315 and Konad special white polish to stamp the design on each nail.
- Try not to stare.
These were so pretty! I loved how the white kind of covered the glitter but left just enough space for the glitter to sparkle through. Just looking at these nails is making me want to wear them again. I think they were prettier in person than in these pics. My camera just can’t/wont capture the scattered holo goodness. Redoing these nails will have to wait- more Bundle Monster stamps are calling my name!!

i think it looks a lot like pottery. rugs aren’t usually so shiny! i really like this pattern.

I can see where you’re getting rug from. I don’t currently have another suggestion, but they sure are pretty! I will try to steal this color combo once I figure out stamping 😛

I guess that’s probably what Bundle Monster was going for, huh? Haha. Now that you say that I’m like “duhhh!!!” but I think the intricacy of the pattern and the lack of triangles threw me off. Why tribal designs need triangles in my mind, I do not know. Haha. Thanks for reading and commenting! 🙂

I think that this looks tribal as well. You are so making me want this glitter…it’s so pretty. Is this design from the recent BM plates? I don’t remember seeing this plate.
Yeah it’s from the recent collection. And you should totally get this glitter! It’s not gritty, it removes easily and it’s super pretty. It’d look great on your darker skin too (remember when you called me pale?! :p) Gettttt ittttt! You know you wanna! And you’ll get it for like 3 bucks at your special store. 🙂
